Swim, gym, fitness, skate, climb and badminton are included within the Active Stirling membership and are subject to availability and change.
Some of the activities may not be available at times due to programming, facility maintenance or other external factors such as Scottish Government Guidelines, adverse weather and may include temporary closures of some or all elements of The PEAK as a facility. Refunds will not be granted for limited or reduced availability of activities.

All cancellations require one full calendar months’ notice. If a Direct Debit has been cancelled without notification, this will be deemed as being in breach of the terms and conditions and an admin fee will apply.
Concessions are available so check with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Proof of eligibility is required every 6 months. Failure to provide proof will mean price charged will automatically change to the normal adult rate.
All Direct Debits are a legally binding contract between Active Stirling and the Direct Debit payer and represent a commitment to pay all monthly membership fees due on the 1st day of the calendar month. If a Direct Debit payment has defaulted, memberships will be cancelled with immediate effect and an administration fee will apply. Members will not be permitted to re-join any membership scheme until all due amounts are paid in full.
All correspondence regarding the Direct Debit will be sent to the Direct Debit holder.
Direct Debit Guarantee
Please pay ‘Active Stirling’ direct debits from the account detailed on my DD instruction. Subject to the safeguards assured by the Direct Debit Guarantee. I understand this instruction may remain with Active Stirling and if so, details will be passed electronically to my bank/building society.
A health commitment statement must be completed by all members before taking a membership. Any changes in health must be reported to the facility immediately.
Classes and activities
Fitness classes can be booked up to 7 days in advance, subject to availability.
We’ve looked at what we can do to try and improve class availability for everyone and reduce the number of non attendance and are pleased to confirm that a new bookings and cancellation policy will be in place from 1 February.
We have decided to implement a three strikes non attendance rule which means that if you book then fail to turn up three times in any 14 day period, we’ll automatically cancel you out of future bookings and you won’t be able to book in for anything else for the next 14 days.
From 1 February we’ll operate a three strikes non-attendance rule, where if you have three ‘no-shows’ in any 14-day booking period then we’ll remove your ability to pre book anything for the following 14 days and any future bookings you have made will also be cancelled.
During this 14 day period you are still able to book in person on the day for up to 24 hours.
We have also increased our cancellation notice period to 4 hours so you must cancel a class you can’t attend at least 4 hours before, otherwise it will be recorded as non attendance.
Please note you must check in at reception or scan your fob at the barriers to record attendance. If you don’t do this then it will be classed as non attendance.
If you are booked into a class, please arrive at the class no later than 10 minutes before it is due to start.
Fitness classes can be booked and cancelled online or via The PEAK app which is available on the App Store or Google Play.
The minimum period for freezing a membership is 1 calendar month and the maximum is 4 calendar months.
Freezing a membership is subject to one calendar month’s notice. Longer dates may be considered and put in writing to email@example.com
Once the Health Commitment Statement has been signed you can start using our gyms. Inductions are available for programmes and advice which are included in your membership.
Gym users aged 12–15
Gym users aged 12–15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times out with the published junior membership times.
Key fobs will be issued to all members and a photograph for internal use only will be taken on your first visit. Any lost or stolen fobs must be reported immediately. A charge of £1 will apply for a replacement fob. Key Fobs are not transferrable between members or with any customer. Contactless wristbands are available for an extra charge.
*Fobs or wristbands must be brought to the facility for barrier entry for all activities.
Members Under 16 years
If a member is under the age of 16, the membership application must be completed by a Parent/Guardian.
Our membership fees and prices are reviewed annually and will be implemented from the 1st October each year. The customer will be given one calendar month’s notice of any proposed increase and will have the right to terminate their agreement using the standard cancellation procedure. Failure to cancel will imply acceptance of the changes and/or increase.
Members who pay an annual or short-term membership require renewing such membership on or before the expiry of the current membership to continue to receive member benefits. Such renewal shall be at the rates applicable at the date of renewal.
Active Stirling reserve the right to run membership promotions and special offers throughout the year, which may offer memberships at a different price from that advertised.
You have the right to cancel your membership within the first 7 days of commencement. If you do cancel within this initial 7-day period, any membership payments incurred by you during that time will be refunded. Pre-paid memberships are non-refundable unless a letter from a GP on medical grounds is provided. If all facilities are unavailable due to unplanned closures for a period of 48 hours or more then refunds will be given covering the full duration of the closure. Prepaid memberships will be extended for the period of closure.
Refunds will not be granted for limited or reduced amount of activities available as part of this membership.
Memberships are for use by the named members only and not for sharing with others. Any abuse of membership privileges can result in automatic cancellation with no refunds provided.
