The 6-badminton court sports hall at The PEAK is a fantastic venue to hire for a wide variety of sports. The sports hall also plays host to some of our Early Years, sports class and inclusion programmes, as well as some of our wide range of health and fitness classes.

The sports hall can be booked for individual dates or on a block booking basis. Our block booking period runs from July–June each year and facility space is allocated on a priority basis in line with our usage policy.
The sports hall is available for hire during The PEAK facility opening times outlined below*:
Monday–Friday: 6.00am–10.00pm
Saturday: 7.00am–7.00pm
Sunday: 8.00am–8.00pm

The full sports hall dimensions are 33.8m length by 29.0m width.
- We have 1 portable bleacher which can seat up to 100. Additional floor seating can be added using chairs and benches
- We have a portable PA system with Bluetooth connectivity
- We have a multi-sport digital scoreboard
- A dividing curtain can separate courts 1-3 from courts 4-6
- Please specify all equipment required for your booking using the options on the booking form
- Please add any equipment you will be bringing in the additional information section of the form
Toilets and two changing areas that accommodate Sports Hall users are located along the Sports Hall corridor. These are generally available to all facility users, but the changing rooms can be booked out in advance by teams where required for private use at no extra charge. Changing rooms can be requested via our booking form.
The sports hall is located on the ground floor of The PEAK and is fully accessible for wheelchair users. A changing places toilet with a hoist is available in the sports hall corridor.
Please wear appropriate footwear when using the sports hall - footwear must have non-marking soles
- Use your PEAK fob or wristband to gain entrance at the barriers. If you do not have a fob you can complete a request form here and your fob will be ready to collect from reception on your first visit
- Please do not walk-through other activity areas to access your court
