About Our Partnership
Forth Valley Recovery Community (FVRC) supports adults living with mental health challenges and addiction, predominantly related to alcohol and drug misuse.
Through this partnership, Active Stirling’s Community Activation Team delivers a wide range of activities designed to improve wellbeing and build social connections:
- Weekly sessions: badminton, swimming, curling, multi-sport activities
- Outdoor experiences: hillwalking, gorge walking, canoeing/kayaking
- Flagship event: Forth Valley Recovery Olympics – a vibrant celebration of recovery, community, and sport

Forth Valley Recovery Olympics
