This qualification is recognised by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations Act, and employers are required to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities, and personnel to enable first aid to be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work.
This course will help you deal with any medical emergencies and give you the ability stay calm and focused.
- Age 14 or over
- Learners must be able to kneel on the floor to deliver Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
During this course you will learn:
- Adult and Paediatric Emergency First Aid in the Workplace
- Recognition and Management of Adult and Paediatric Illness and Injury in the Workplace
- 3-day course, including 1-day assessment

The STA First Aid at Work qualification enables learners to progress onto qualifications at the same level or above
First Aid at Work qualification is valid for three years (ongoing training is advised)
