On Sunday 20 September 2026, all swimming pools at The PEAK will close to the public from 12 noon to allow us to host the 2026 Stirling Swimming Club Gala.
The gala is an important event for Stirling’s swimming community, bringing local swimmers together to compete, develop their skills and celebrate the sport. We’re delighted to welcome Stirling Swimming Club and support this fantastic event.
What does this mean for your visit?
To allow the gala to take place, the following temporary changes will be in effect:
- All pools will close to the public from 12 noon on Sunday 20 September.
- There will be no Family Fun Session on this date.
- The Sauna & Steam Room, will remain open as usual.
We appreciate that the pool closure and cancellation of the Family Fun Session may affect your plans, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please allow extra time for parking
The gala is expected to attract a large number of swimmers, families and spectators, so car parking at The PEAK is likely to be busier than usual.
If you’re visiting The PEAK for another activity on Sunday 20 September, please allow plenty of extra time for your journey and to find a parking space, particularly around the time the gala is taking place.
