We’re excited to announce that Active Stirling has opened recruitment for new members to join our Board of Trustees. We're looking for passionate, skilled individuals who want to help strengthen and guide our organisation as we continue to deliver sport, physical activity, and health and wellbeing opportunities across the Stirling area.
Since our formation in 2006, we’ve delivered a wide range of programmes and services on behalf of Stirling Council. We manage The PEAK at Stirling Sports Village, as well as numerous community facilities and activities.
Each year, we welcome nearly one million visitors — and we reinvest all income back into our local communities as part of our charitable mission.
What our Trustees do
Our Board plays a vital part in shaping our strategic direction, overseeing budgets, and ensuring we continue to advance participation in sport, physical activity, health and wellbeing, and community involvement across Stirling.
We’re now inviting applications from people with relevant expertise who share our commitment to making Stirling a place where everyone can access opportunities to move more.
We are particularly keen to hear from individuals interested in taking on the roles of Vice Chair or Treasurer.
Active Stirling plays a vital role in improving the health and wellbeing of communities across Stirlingshire, with a vision of Stirling as a place where no barriers exist to participation in sport and physical activity. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking Trustees who share our vision and recognise the importance of sport and physical activity in shaping healthier, more connected communities.
