Ideal for children aged 2-5 years, our ice skating lessons will have your little one having fun skating to music and playing with toys like our sledges and penguins, all whilst secretly perfecting skills like balance and co-ordination.
The lessons are also a great way for your child to meet new friends and be introduced to a new sport that they can enjoy as they grow.
Our Skate Tots ice skating class has exclusive use of the ice rink for the full 30 minutes so you don’t have to worry about it being too busy.
Our qualified ice skating coaches will be there to supervise and will tailor fun games and activities to help your child work towards the British Ice Skating’s Skate Tots criteria.

Skate Tots Stage One
- Getting on and off the ice unaided (3 times)
- Hold onto your skating aid and March 10 steps forward
- Stand on ice unaided (5 to 10 seconds)
- March on the spot (5 to 10 seconds)
- Wiggle on two feet
Skate Tots Stage Two
- Throw object forward and collect it
- Fall down and get up unaided
- Stationary basic lemon motion
- Forward moving march to step unaided
- Turning around on spot
Skate Tots Stage Three
- Forward moving march followed by two foot glide plus basic lemon motion
- Forward moving march in and out of cones
- Unaided moving forward across ice
- Moving backwards
- Stationary snowball to gather snow

- Warm, loose-fitting clothing
- Warm jumpers
- Gloves (If you think they’ll be cold)
- Parents/Guardians accompanying their child on the ice should wear clean, flat, rubber soled shoes (trainers are ideal)
- Payments for Skate Tots lessons can be made annually or by direct debit
- Direct debit is taken on the 1st of each month and payments are split equally across 12 months
