Health walks are on good, surfaced paths with only very gentle inclines.

A health walk is a short, gentle, and friendly led walk up to two miles (approximately 45 minutes but can be shorter if requested). Please note that the pace of these health walks is more suited to beginners. These walks are suitable for those living in the community with dementia to attend with their carer, family or friends and are supported by our trained Dementia Friendly Walk Leaders. These walks are suitable for those living with a visual impairment or sight loss, supported by our trained Sighted Guide walk leaders, through Guide Dog Scotland. Please get in touch for more information. walking@activestirling.org.uk
