Leadership Opportunities
Our pathway supports pupils from primary through to secondary school, offering a range of programmes tailored to different interests and stages:
- Primary Junior Leadership (P6/7): Early introduction to leadership through fun and engaging activities.
- Sports Leaders: Building confidence by leading games, events, and activities.
- Delivery Academy: Practical experience in planning and delivering physical activity sessions.
- Fit for Girls: Promoting inclusive leadership and participation for girls in sport.
- Sports Councils: Giving pupils a voice to shape physical activity in their schools.
- Young Ambassadors: Inspiring others by promoting sport, health, and wellbeing.

Saltire Awards
All young people involved in the Leadership Pathway are encouraged to register and log their volunteer hours through the Saltire Awards website. This national recognition scheme celebrates youth volunteering and provides certificates for different milestones—an excellent way to showcase commitment and achievement.
