What is Volunteers Week?

Volunteers' Week celebrates 40 years of volunteering. This is a chance to celebrate the remarkable contributions volunteers bring to communities throughout the UK.

At Active Stirling, volunteers play a pivotal role. Their dedication, time, and energy enrich the community by promoting sports, physical activity, and healthier living. Their commitment is truly inspiring!

Volunteers' week is a chance to recognise and say THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers; to celebrate the contribution they make to the Stirling community.

At Active Stirling, we are incredibly fortunate to have a fantastic volunteer workforce supporting our programmes across all Stirling communities. Without their dedication and commitment, many of these programmes would simply not run. We are immensely proud and grateful for the efforts of our volunteers, and we want to use Volunteers’ Week to give them a special mention and heartfelt thank you from all of us at Active Stirling.
