Inspire Stirling’s Youth have recently been awarded the ‘Volunteering Award for Sport and Physical Activity’ at the Inspire Volunteering Awards 2022, hosted by Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise (SVE), the awards took place at the Albert Halls, Stirling on Wednesday 21 September.

Inspire Stirling’s Youth is a project funded by Young Start and delivered by Active Stirling. The project allows young people aged 16-26years to use sport and physical activity as a tool to prepare for employment, support young people’s health and wellbeing as well as open doors to new opportunities.

This award highlights the dedication and success from our young people over the past year. Inspire currently have 30 active volunteers aged between 16 and 24 who are delivering free activity sessions in their community.

Each week Inspire focus on developing employability skills and coaching skills by attending group and individual sessions. This group supports each young person to gain new experiences and qualifications specific to their future career pathway.
