We’re giving The PEAK ice rink some behind-the-scenes care this month as we carry out essential maintenance.
What’s happening?
To make sure you enjoy the best possible skating experience, we need to melt the ice right down to the concrete slab. This allows us to:

Repair any bumps or uneven areas

Refresh the rink paint

Check and fine-tune the cooling systems
This time, we’re also carrying out additional work beneath a section of concrete that keeps the curling stones cold. Because of this, the closure will take a little longer than usual.
When will the rink be closed?

Reopening on: Monday 15 September
What does this mean for programmes?
While the ice rink is closed, our Learn to Skate, Adult Skate, and Skate Tots sessions will also be paused. These will return as soon as the rink reopens.
