Showcasing remarkable talent and teamwork

Active Stirling recently hosted the successful Stirling Schools Sports Hall P5 Athletics Final at The PEAK in Stirling on Wednesday, 6 December. The event brought together talented young athletes from five schools, Bridge of Allan, Doune, Newton, St. Marys Bannockburn, and St. Ninians Primary Schools. Each school had qualified by emerging victorious in their respective Learning Community Events.

With a vibrant display of athletic prowess, the participating schools displayed determination, skill, and outstanding teamwork throughout the day. The athletes competed in a range of exhilarating track and field events, displaying their potential, and creating a memorable occasion for all involved.

Everyone played a crucial role in their team's pursuit of points for their school, demonstrating exceptional dedication and a passion for athletics. The supportive atmosphere at The PEAK was palpable, as friends, families, and teachers provided encouragement and celebrated the young athletes' achievements.

After an incredibly close competition, we are pleased to announce the overall winners of the Stirling Schools P5 Athletics Final - Bridge of Allan Primary School! Their commitment, talent, and teamwork proved to be the winning combination on this memorable day.

The Stirling Schools P5 Athletics Final not only highlighted the extraordinary athletic abilities of our young students but also emphasised the importance of physical fitness and active lifestyles. It showcased the unwavering support of the school staff, parents, volunteers, and Active Stirling’s Active Schools team, who continue to foster a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition within our local schools.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the participants who made this event a resounding success. All schools who attended the competition were winners of their own learning community event, to get to the final was a huge achievement. Their dedication to developing the athletic potential of our young learners is truly commendable.

The final was a great competition with all schools doing very well, it was great to see the support from the school staff and family members who came along to the event. Congratulations to Bridge of Allan Primary School, they were worthy winners.
