A Celebration of Talent and Creativity!

The stage was set, the lights were bright, and Stirling’s talented secondary school dancers didn’t disappoint!

Over 130 pupils from Dunblane, Wallace, McLaren, Balfron, St Modan’s, and Bannockburn Secondary Schools came together at The PEAK to showcase their incredible routines, wowing the audience with group performances, solos, duets, and trios across junior and senior categories.

But the fun didn’t stop there—dancers also had the chance to participate in two dynamic workshops, Jazz and Contemporary, led by Dance Artists Kaitlyn and Meara from Dance Connection. The energy was electric as pupils learned new moves and techniques to elevate their performance skills.

We were absolutely amazed and blown away by the talent on display. The dedication and hard work of the dancers truly shone through. Well done to everyone who participated! A huge thank you to all the school staff who supported the dancers and helped make the event such a success.

A Day Full of Inspiration

The competition wasn’t just about dancing; it was a celebration of creativity, community, and connection. It brought people together, highlighting the positive impact of movement and collaboration on young people’s lives.

More Than Just a Dance

The annual event, hosted by our Active Schools team, goes beyond showcasing talent. It’s about fostering growth, building confidence, and promoting social connections through the power of dance. By encouraging extra-curricular participation in sport and physical activity, these events create meaningful experiences for pupils while building stronger ties within the community.

We can’t wait to see next year’s event sparkle even brighter, as Stirling’s young stars continue to shine!
