Active Stirling recently hosted its inaugural Primary School Netball Event at The PEAK, Stirling Sports Village.

Ten primary schools from across Stirling participated in this exciting netball event. The format featured group stages where each school played against one another, followed by a knockout competition.

The atmosphere at The PEAK was fantastic, with pupils enjoying a day filled with teamwork and fun. They showcased their netball skills, demonstrating their abilities in hand-eye co-ordination, passing, dodging, marking players, shooting and footwork!

Throughout the event, the pupils exhibited excellent teamwork, moving the ball around the court accurately and strategically, outmanoeuvring their opponents in each game. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable day for everyone involved.

Congratulations to Kippen Primary School for securing 1st place! Strathblane Primary claimed 2nd place, with Queen Victoria School finishing as the runner-up in 3rd place. Well done to all!

The event was a remarkable success; it was great to see so many teams from all over Stirling. It was a highly competitive competition with all teams doing very well. Hopefully, we will be able to do the same next year and get a few more teams along.
