Active Stirling Supports the Forth Valley Recovery Olympics 2025

Active Stirling is proud to once again support the Forth Valley Recovery Olympics 2025—a fantastic annual celebration of recovery, community, and the power of physical activity.

Organised in partnership with the Forth Valley Recovery Community (FVRC), this free event is open to individuals in Scottish recovery communities and their support services. It’s all about celebrating progress, promoting healthy living, and boosting mental wellbeing through fun, friendly competition and connection.

This family-friendly day out promises something for everyone, with plenty of laughs, encouragement, and community spirit at the heart of it all. Kids can enjoy face painting, races, and a bouncy castle (weather permitting), and there’ll be 10 action-packed events for participants to get involved in—including the ever-popular Hungry Hippos and Tug-o-War!

Other events include:

  • Sprint Race
  • Egg & Spoon
  • Sack Race
  • 3-Legged Race
  • Wheelbarrow Race
  • Dress-Up Relay
  • Soft Archery
  • Turbo Javelin

Fancy dress is encouraged to help create a vibrant, joyful atmosphere, where participants and spectators alike can come together, have fun, and make meaningful connections.
