Andrew Bain, Chief Executive at Active Stirling is stepping down from his role at the charitable trust after 17 years, it was announced today, Wednesday 26 July 2023.
The Active Stirling Board thanked Andrew for his time in the role during which time he oversaw the opening of The PEAK at Stirling Sports Village in 2009 – the £27m indoor sports facility that Active Stirling manage on behalf of Stirling Council.
The Active Stirling board have appointed existing Director of Operations, Matt Bunnell, as Interim Chief Executive to oversee the management of the organisation whilst an external operating model review is undertaken.
