Please allow a minimum of 10 working days for a press release to be produced and issued prior to an event/news story, and if appropriate a photographer to be arranged (the more time/notice we can give the greater chance you have of the media covering your story). Please also be aware of Stirling Observer’s publishing deadlines which can affect the timing of whether and when your event/news story will appear i.e. there are only 2 chances of it appearing each week which are a Wednesday and Friday.
To arrange a media invite and set up a photocall with media
Please allow a minimum of 10 working days for a media invite to be produced and issued prior to an event/news story.
Please allow a minimum of 5 working days for a press release to be issued following an event/news story (as this is after the event we have a short window of time to issue this before the paper deems it as ‘old news’ and won’t run the story).
These are the newspaper cut-off times for submitting press releases/media invites to the papers each week –
Monday 5.00pm for Wednesday Stirling Observer
Wednesday 5.00pm for Friday Stirling Observer
