Customer behaviour
Our team should be able to come to work and do their job, without fear of abuse, violence or harassment.

Active Stirling has a zero tolerance approach to unacceptable verbal and physical behaviour directed towards our team and other customers.

Our zero-tolerance policy is intended to prevent abusive and violent anti-social behaviour towards our team, but is not a means to prevent negative feedback or criticism of our services. We welcome all customer feedback, both positive and negative about your experience and encourage you to share this with us using the feedback forms available as there may also be rare occasions when your issue cannot be resolved immediately in the facility or during an activity.

Behaviour that is regarded as unacceptable includes but is not limited to:

  • Excessive shouting
  • Swearing
  • Harassment
  • Bullying
  • Discrimination
  • Threats

Any unacceptable behaviour will be taken very seriously, and we may ask you to leave our building immediately and exclude you from being able to use our services in future.

Social media
Communication on social media can sometimes be emotive and confrontational language that is not so usual in spoken dialogue.

Just as we won’t tolerate bullying, discrimination or harassment in person, we also have a zero tolerance for threatening, discriminatory or harassing comments on social media. We have outlined our social media community rules on our channels which give more information around how we manage our online communities to make sure they are a safe and enjoyable place for everyone.

As part of our commitment to you, we’ll try our best to make sure anyone who posts on our pages comply with the Active Stirling family-friendly philosophies. However, since we unfortunately can’t monitor every posting or conversation, we ask all users of our page not to post any content that falls into the following categories – and we will remove any posts that are

- Abusive, defamatory, or obscene

- Fraudulent, deceptive or misleading

- A breach of any intellectual property right of another

- A breach of any law or regulation

- Otherwise offensive and targeting our team members personally

- Suggestive of new products, companies or direct promotion
