The sports hall at The PEAK will open on Monday 17 May
The ice rink and the sports hall at The PEAK as large, well ventilated spaces will be used this year by Stirling Council as a Covid safe venue for the Scottish Parliament election and local byelection count from Friday 7 May until Sunday 9 May. The previous venue for the election count was the Albert Halls which is currently not a feasible Covid safe venue.
Due to these areas being used for the election count, it means activities in the sports hall will be available from Monday 17 May.
Preparing to open
After the election count, from Monday 10 May, we’ll start work to get the sports hall ready for indoor activities, including fitness classes. This includes making sure there are clearly marked physical distancing boxes for participants to safely take part, so we’ll need to potentially reline some areas. It’ll take us a week to do this, to be ready to reopen this area from Monday 17 May.
When the sports hall does reopen, all sessions must be booked in advance. Get ready by downloading our app and setting up your online bookings account.
