Please note that after our routine plant inspection this morning we have unfortunately detected a fault with the air handling unit which supplies the pool hall. This means that to keep the pool area well ventilated and Covid-19 environment compliant, the pool hall will be extremely cold, as we must keep all the pool hall doors open to allow enough fresh air into the building.
As it is cold in and out of the pool as a result, we’d advise if you were planning to prebook and visit with young children over the next week, that you wait until we have installed the new part.
We plan to keep the pool hall open on this basis, however this is still very much weather dependent, as should levels of humidity increase, we may not be able to keep the swimming pools open and comply with Covid-19 regulations, as there may not be enough fresh air or ventilation coming into the pool hall.
We hope to have resolved the current issue within the next seven working days and return once more, to a more comfortable environment for everyone. We will let you know as soon as we are back operating the pool hall normally again.
