A ten week block of pre school activities for children age 6 months - 5 years, starts Monday 10 January to Friday 25 March (term time) * excludes Monday 14 to Friday 18 February — book now!

Classes include -

Bouncing beans 6-21 months

A fun setting for social interaction through play activities. Children will develop body awareness, participate in action songs and aid their physical development using soft play gymnastics equipment.

Jumping beans class 21 months-5 years

Jumping beans promotes all aspects of development, defining gross motor skills such as jumping, climbing and balancing. This class builds confidence and coaches children to learn independently in a structured play environment.

Children take part in action songs, explore stimulating and colourful hand apparatus and jump around on soft play gymnastics equipment. Jumping beans is a great way for young children socially interact and meet new friends.

This class is planned in line with Curriculum for Excellence and developmental milestones.

Athletics class 3-5 years

Children learn, develop and practice athletics in a fun and safe environment designed for physical activity. This class coaches children to learn new skills that can be used in a wide range of sports, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle at an early age.

Gymnastics class 3-5 years

Bouncing, spinning, rolling – your children are already natural born gymnasts. Delivered by qualified coaches, your child will learn some key early gymnastic techniques including balancing, co-ordination and jumping.


Each class costs £40 for the 10 week block


All sessions must be booked via Active Stirling online booking.


  • You'll need to provide a medical/consent form once you've booked the child into a class - this will be emailed to you before the class starts.
  • A parent/guardian must attend Bouncing beans (6-21months) and Jumping beans (21months-3years) with the child. For all other classes, please make sure you drop off and pick up the child at the sports hall.
