Active Stirling will be hosting their annual Volunteer Awards on Friday 7 June at The PEAK, Stirling Sports Village.

The Awards Ceremony is a heartfelt tribute to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, a chance to express gratitude for their tireless efforts within our community.

Volunteering in sports fosters a profound sense of purpose and accomplishment. It's about more than just playing the game; it's about shaping futures and fostering healthier, happier communities. Volunteers are the backbone of our sporting initiatives, helping to create opportunities and nurture the next generation of athletes.

Time is running out to nominate your favourite Volunteer of the Year! Nominations close on Friday 1 March. Following the deadline, Active Stirling will select the shortlist nominees and announce them shortly thereafter.

Here's a reminder of the volunteer categories:

  • Coach and Volunteer
  • Schools and Programs
  • SportAbility
  • Community and Walking
  • Special Recognition

We urge the community to join us in recognising these unsung heroes who selflessly contribute their time, energy, and expertise to positively impact the lives of others. By nominating a deserving individual, you not only honour their remarkable contributions but also inspire others to follow in their footsteps.

Let's celebrate the spirit of volunteerism and acknowledge those who make a real difference in our community.

Thank you for your continued support.
