We’re delighted to start back some of our fitness classes for adults at community venues in Stirling.

Physical activity in later life is important for so many reasons – not only will your health improve, but you’ll also meet new friends.

Classes start Monday 23 August - Friday 17 December

WHAT CLASSES ARE ON:

AEROBICS & TONE

Days & times: Tuesdays - 9.30am-10.15am & Fridays - 9.30am-10.15am

Location: Cambusbarron Community Centre

This class has low impact exercises with gentle, full-body toning exercises – a great way to enjoy physical activity and most importantly have fun.

HOW AN AEROBICS AND TONE CLASS HELPS –

  • Helps manage and treat numerous medical conditions
  • Prevents development of further associated conditions
  • Benefits conditions like coronary heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis and arthritis
  • Improves weight management
  • Helps with overall physical and mental wellbeing, , sleeping patterns and increased energy+

STRENGTH & BALANCE

Days/times & location:

Mondays - Killearn Church Hall - 1.00pm-1.30pm and 2.00pm-2.30pm

Fridays - Cambusbarron Community Centre - 10.45am-11.15am

A falls prevention class for adults with a series of exercises focusing on improving balance and mobility and help build your confidence. A great way to enjoy physical activity and most importantly have fun.

HOW A STRENGTH & BALANCE CLASS HELPS -

  • Helps manage and treat numerous medical conditions
  • Prevents development of further associated conditions
  • Benefits conditions like coronary heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis and arthritis
  • Improves weight management
  • Helps with overall physical and mental wellbeing, , sleeping patterns and increased energy

Cost: FREE for ALL IN members / £4 for Community members and non-members / £3 for concessions
