Learn to Kayak Outdoors

Cost: £100. Duration: 2 days. Age: 16+.

   

Aim:

  • The aim of this programme is to learn new, and develop existing skills. Open water gives you the space required to develop skills and get feedback on the basic techniques.
  • Some experience required

   

Course Content:

  • Efficient forward and backwards paddling.
  • Turning, stopping, moving sideways and ruddering.
  • Outdoor access code.
  • Environmental and weather issues.
  • Clothing and equipment.
