When will my block booking be able to resume?
The Active Stirling Route map provides an overview of the stages at which we expect certain activities to be able to resume. Progress through our Routemap will depends on progress through the Scottish Government’s route map phases and the latest guidance from national governing bodies, and we will be reviewing our staged approach on a weekly basis.

Why are some activities permitted to return before others?
Sport and activity bookings will only be able to resume when it is safe and viable for them to do so in line with the latest guidance. Activities during which social distancing can be adhered to will resume before other activities during which social distancing is more challenging to adhere to or where there are greater safety risks.

Why are you repurposing areas for other activities when it’s already safe for my sport to resume?
During initial stages we will be repurposing areas of the PEAK to still allow sport, physical activity and health and wellbeing to take place in a safe and socially distant manner in line with the Active Stirling Routemap. We are creatively utilising space in order to maximise the number of participants who can attend classes and activities during initial phases to make sure that necessary safety measures are in place.

Why is my usual activity space/time not available to me just now?
As above.

What safety precautions should myself/club members take when attending the facility?
We ask all users to comply with Scottish Government safety regulations at all times as well as adhering to specific safety and hygiene measures in place at the facility and as directed by our facility team.

How many people can come along to my booking?
Participant numbers should allow for social distancing guidelines to be followed within your allocated space.

Do we have to adhere to social distancing measures during our activity?
Yes – social distancing must be observed at all times within the facility in line with the latest guidance.

How will you ensure that social distancing and safety measures are being adhered to by all users within the facility?
Before returning to the facility, users will be required to commit to enhanced hygiene measures and etiquette. Our team will be on hand to support the enforcement and practice of safety measures.

My club/organisation use equipment from the facility. Will we be responsible for maintaining the hygiene of equipment during/after our session? Will cleaning equipment be provided?
Users will be required to commit to enhanced cleaning measures and etiquette before returning to the facility. Equipment should be cleaned regularly during sessions to maintain good hygiene and there will be additional cleaning equipment available within the facility. We have invested in specialist equipment to disinfect equipment and activity areas between every session.

My club/organisation brings our own equipment for our sessions. Is this still permitted and do we need to have additional measures in place to facilitate this?
Users will be required to commit to enhanced cleaning measures and etiquette before returning to the facility. Equipment being brought into the facility should be sterilised before entry and again once you have entered the facility. Equipment should be cleaned regularly during sessions to maintain good hygiene and there will be additional cleaning equipment available within the facility.

Some of our club members belong to a vulnerable group and we can’t yet return to activity – will my block booking space be guaranteed when we are ready to return?
Areas may be repurposed during our staged reopening however we will ensure that you retain priority over the space in line with the usage policy and progress through the Active Stirling Routemap.

A number of club members/participants are self-isolating – can I cancel my booking at short notice without penalty?

Due to social distancing measures, we can’t have as many participants at each session. Will facility hire prices be reduced to accommodate this?
In order to ensure that activities are economically viable, we won’t currently be reducing facility hire prices across the facility, however we will continue to monitor the situation in line with our phased approach.

Due to social distancing measures, we require additional space/time for our booking. Can we book additional space/time?
During the initial stages of our reopening, we will be reviewing programming and availability across the facility to ensure we are compliant with relevant guidelines. If you require additional space or time for your booking, please let us know at bookings@activestirling.org.uk and we will advise if there is additional space or time available to accommodate you.

Once my booking recommences could I be expected to pay for more space to adhere to social distancing guidelines?
If you need additional space or time for your booking, please let us know at bookings@activestirling.org.uk and we will advise if there is additional space or time available to accommodate you. Additional costs will apply for an increase in space booked.

Can I still pay for my block booking via my chosen payment method?
Usual advance payment methods will be available however we will not be accepting cash payments during the initial stages of reopening.
