Stirling Pupils Get Ready for Think Dancing 2020
Local Primary School children are preparing to take to the stage at the Macrobert Arts Centre on Tuesday 11 February for Active Stirling’s annual Think Dancing performance.

This show is the first of three Think Dancing evenings in 2020, hosted by Active Stirling’s Active Schools team, with two further shows to be held in April. The evening is a celebration of the hard work by all of the participants of the Think Dancing programme.

The first show will bring together seven schools to perform their dance routines for an audience of family and friends. Primary Schools performing at the February show will be Borestone, Bridge of Allan, Doune, Fallin, St. Mary's, St. Ninian's and Our Lady's Primary Schools.

Zoe Thomson, Active Stirling Dance Development Officer said: I have really enjoyed supporting the schools over the last few months, sharing ideas and seeing the young people be inspired. They have grown in confidence over the period and I am really looking forward to seeing them perform on the night.”

Active Stirling has community and pre-school school dance classes for children aged 18 months - 18 years. For details see

Active Stirling’s Think Dancing programme was established in 2008 and provides training for school staff to help them develop dance pieces with their class or club.
