Stirling Council and Active Stirling announce Routemap

We hope everyone has kept safe, active and well and we really miss seeing everyone take part in all the sport, physical activity and health and wellbeing services we deliver across Stirling. As you know we unfortunately had to close our facilities and stop services in March due to Covid-19.
We’re excited to share the news with you that Active Stirling and Stirling Council today launch our plan to open some areas of The PEAK in August with limited activities as outlined in a new Active Stirling Routemap.
For Stage 1, in line with the Scottish Government Covid-19 routemap, we plan to partially reopen The PEAK with adult fitness classes, gym sessions and outdoor exercise (weather permitting) and reduced opening times.
All activities take place in safe socially distanced zones isolated from each other to avoid viral transmission. Activity start times across the different zones are staggered to make sure the number of people entering and exiting The PEAK at any one time is reduced and equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each class and session. Customers also won’t be able to move between zones from inside The PEAK.
Working to Scottish Government guidelines, we have reduced the amount of gym equipment in the main PEAK gym with safe spacing between machines, with more equipment spaced out and available in studio 1 and studio 2. Again, only one gym session will run at a time with a scheduled break before the next one starts for cleaning and disinfecting.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back.
