FVRC organise this national sports day event each year to provide some friendly competition and a great active, social occasion for all the recovery communities across the country. The event also brings together the many staff and volunteers from the organisations that support them on a daily basis.
Various events were available on the day including; Sprint Race, Tattie & Spoon Race, Wheelbarrow Race, 3 Legged Race, Sack Race, Relay Sprint Race, Tug O'War, Soft Archery and Human Hungry Hippos.

Tom Gebbie, Active Stirling Community Activation Officer said, “It was a fantastic event, well organised by FVRC and everyone had a brilliant experience. This is a great event to get the recovery communities active in an enjoyable way. Each year it has grown significantly and there are already big plans for the 5 year anniversary of the games in 2020. Having worked with FVRC for two years now, it is great to see the event grow and everyone having a fun time in an active setting. This is the pinnacle sporting event for them each year and definitely a highlight for everyone involved. I look forward to helping support this group and event in the years to come.”
