Customer update - Thursday 19 November 2020
On Tuesday 17 November the First Minister announced that Stirling will be placed on Protection Level 4 of the Scottish Government’s Covid 19 Framework for a period of 3 weeks from 6pm on Friday 20 November.  We want to update our customers and members on how services and activities will be affected.
All activities will continue as planned up to 6.00pm on Friday 20 November. Any activity which finishes after 6pm on Friday will not go ahead.
From 6.00pm on Friday 20 November until further notice, our activities and services will be affected as follows.
ALLIN Memberships
All unfrozen members will remain active to allow access to outdoor classes and ensure access to Live Streaming classes. January direct debit collections will be reduced to reflect the total number of days indoor activities at The PEAK are not available due to the Level 4 Protection restrictions. Where applicable, end dates of memberships will be extended to reflect the closure also. We will contact ALLIN Members by email in the coming days with more information.
Gym, Swim, Climb, Skate, Play
All indoor activity will stop at The PEAK including gym, swim, climb, skate and play.
Learn to swim
All swimming lessons will cease from 6pm on Friday. Learn to Swim customers should all have received an email by now to arrange refunds. Please note that the email will have been sent to the email account used to book the lessons.
Pitch hire
All contact sport is prohibited in Protection Level 4 areas so pitch hire will be unavailable to the general public.
Our team will contact all individuals to arrange refunds for pre-paid activities occurring after 6.00pm on Friday 20 November.  You will receive an email to the address that was used to book the activity.  We normally ask for 5-10 days but due to the volume of refunds required it may take us a little longer.
Outdoor fitness classes
We’re pleased that we will be able to continue offering outdoor fitness classes and we are ready to increase the number of classes if there is a demand for it.
FIT Camps can continue outdoors and both Andy and Dawn look forward to supporting participants during the 3-week shutdown.
Live stream fitness classes
We will continue to offer a variety of live stream fitness classes on the Active Stirling App. This now includes On demand workouts which you can access at a time which suits you.
Performance sport
We are pleased to be able to continue to support Stirling Albion FC, University of Stirling FC and British Curling as they continue to train and compete as a permissible activity.
Travel restrictions
Please take note of the travel rules such as you may travel locally (within around 5 miles of your local authority area) to reach a place to take exercise outdoors.
Most of our team will return to furlough leave as they were in March so it may take longer for us to respond to enquiries during this period of closure.  If you do need to contact us please do so by email to
Thank you to everyone who has supported us since reopening, we look forward to seeing you indoors again soon and take care.

Many thanks
