ClubSport Stirling Launch New Website

ClubSport Stirling has re-developed and launched a brand new website with the help and support of Active Stirling Community Activation Officer Tom Gebbie.
A volunteer led organisation, ClubSport Stirling works to support local sports clubs in the Stirling Council area to grow and develop, with guidance, education and training, funding and practical support from Active Stirling’s Community Activation or Sport Specific Officers.
The previous website had become dated with much of the content needing reviewed. It was recognised that the number of pages on the site needed reduced to make it easier for people to find the information they need as well as make it simpler for the volunteers to maintain.
The new site has a modern feel to it and now provides local clubs with all the information they need to develop and grow. It also provides a full list of ClubSport Stirling affiliated clubs available to residents in the various communities across Stirling. Along with contact details for the relevant Active Stirling team member that can help you get involved in a sports club.
Martin Kenny, Chair of ClubSport Stirling said,
“It's fantastic that we have a new website which profiles the support we make to clubs but also the great work we do in providing outstanding opportunities to the community of Stirling.  As a voluntary organisation our partnership with Active Stirling is critical and Tom's support to redeveloping our website is just one example of how we work closely to support people in Stirling to be active through our clubs.”
Active Stirling’s Tom Gebbie, Community Activation Officer said,
“It has been great to work on the site and create a fresh platform for clubs to engage with ClubSport Stirling and the Active Stirling officers that support the clubs each day. We really hope that clubs and communities make great use of the new site and use it to their full advantage.”
If you work with a sports club and are interested in affiliating to ClubSport Stirling or are already affiliated and would like advice and support, or an individual who would like to join a club, you are invited to use this new website to your full advantage -
