From Monday 28 September limited sheets will be available for curlers to book in the National Curling Academy (NCA).
Bookings open online or through the app on Monday 21 September at 12.00pm for curling sessions which start on Monday 28 September.
We are pleased to bring curlers this limited service at the NCA in advance of the reopening of The PEAK ice rink in October, when more availability will return.
Sheets available
£75 per sheet per 2 hour session
Maximum of 8 people per sheet
All sessions must be pre booked using the Active Stirling online booking service or on the App. Please note: You can only book multiple sheets in one transaction via the online booking service, not on the App. Bookings open Monday 21 September at 12.00pm.
Entrance to the National Curling Academy is via the fire exit to the right of the staff entrance doorThis allows it to operate as a completely separate zone to other activities in The PEAK.
Before you visit
  • Curling sessions must be pre booked online or on the App ‘book a session or facility space’
  • To book online you will need an Active Stirling online booking account
  • You can create an online account here or request login details or pin if you’ve forgotten yours
  • Toilets will be available but customers should try to avoid using them where possible, and instead use the toilet at home before and after they visit The PEAK
When you visit
  • Arrive at the entrance to the NCA about 5 minutes before the session is due to begin
  • Doors will close promptly when the session begins
  • Curlers must wear a face covering up until they step onto the ice and must put it on again when they are ready to step off the ice, unless exempt
  • The maximum number of curlers permitted per sheet is 8
  • Catering is not available
  • Toilets will be available in the NCA
  • Bring minimal belongings as no changing rooms or lockers are available
