Performance

Catriona MorrisonDeveloping raw talent into elite performance requires the right opportunities: facilities, coaching, support services. Active Stirling aims to provide those opportunities.

Take for example, the work that the SportCentral team is doing - providing pathways for young sporting talent to reach their potential and developing local coaches and volunteers.

Then there's the Central Scotland Institute of Sport. An athlete-centred coach-led organisation, it offers quality coaching and support services to individuals identified by Scottish Governing Bodies as showing real potential.

sportscotland meanwhile, in conjunction with partners, is introducing a Long-Term Player Pathway and Regional Sports Partnership - the end goal being strong, sustainable structure that develop talented athletes and sport as a whole.

All of these activities are supported by Stirling Council, ClubSport Stirling and their many partners.
