Active Stirling's Rugby Development Programme in partnership with Scottish Rugby Union was established in 1996 and continues to grow from strength to strength.
The aims of the programme centre primarily around developing the four rugby clubs within the Stirling area:
- Bannockburn RFC
- McLaren RFC
- Stirling County RFC
- Strathendrick RFC

The development work done in conjunction with the local clubs aims to provide an environment which will provide rugby for players of all ages.
The programmes offered are:
- School Coaching Sessions and Festivals
- School Holiday Programmes
- Coach Education Courses
