Football

The Active Stirling football development programme, in conjunction with the Scottish Football Association, has now been in existence for over 10 years.

The aims of the current programme are:-

To provide opportunities for children and youths to enjoy football participation within a structured programme.
To develop strong, safe and sustainable clubs throughout the community.
To provide a suitable framework and pathway which supports the long-term player development of young players.
To increase the quality and quantity of coaches at all levels, through Coach Education courses and In-Service Training.

Our coaches who deliver all of our programmes, are both Disclosure Scotland checked and SFA certified/licenced. They endeavour to give every participant the opportunity to develop their skills to the best of their ability. The main emphasis though is placed on fun and enjoyment.
