Active Stirling
Football
The Active Stirling football development programme, in conjunction with the Scottish Football Association, has now been in existence for over 10 years.
The aims of the current programme are:
- To provide opportunities for children and youths to enjoy football participation within a structured programme.
- To develop strong, safe and sustainable clubs throughout the community.
- To provide a suitable framework and pathway which supports the long-term player development of young players.
- To increase the quality and quantity of coaches at all levels, through Coach Education courses and In-Service Training.
Our coaches who deliver all of our programmes, are both Disclosure Scotland Checked and SFA certified/licenced. They endeavour to give every participant the opportunity to develop their skills to the best of their ability. The main emphasis is placed on fun and enjoyment.
