Cricket

CricketKwik Cricket, for children aged 8-11 years, is held all year round, indoors in winter, outdoor during the summer (usually as part of the Summer Programme). Kwik Cricket is an introduction to cricket using a softball and smaller bats.  Junior Cricket Coaching for children aged 12-17 years is held indoors January to April at Alloa Academy and from April to August at Stirling County Cricket Ground, Williamfield, Stirling.

The coaching covers the skills of batting, bowling and fielding. Besides group coaching, the students are coached in nets and are videoed which gives them the opportunity to study themselves batting and bowling. Equipment can be provided, but students should bring their own if possible.
