Parks and Open Spaces

Kings ParkStirling boasts some of the best parks and open space areas in Central Scotland. From Kings Park with arguably one of the most dramatic and instantly recognised backdrops in Scotland in Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and the Ochil Hills contrasting with the ever popular Beechwood Park offering a mini traffic circuit for the kids.

Beechwood Park

Beechwood Park offers children the opportunity to drive on their own real road network! The Mini Traffic circuit allows kids to experience what it's like to cycle on the road in complete safety. There are stop signs, give way signs and the circuit is marked out exactly as a normal road. This facility is designed specifically for children aged from 3 to 11 years old with bikes provided on site to suit all ages. These activities are open throughout the Easter and summer holidays (10.00am - 5.00pm), and every weekend in between the Easter and summer holidays.

Kings Park

Kings Park offers everything from a vast expanse of open space to a choice of recreational activities for all age groups to enjoy. There are tennis courts which can be used free of charge, a fantastic floodlit skate park (not for the faint hearted), and football can be played recreationally or you can watch one of the local teams play.
