Learn to Lead Climb

Cost: £60.   Duration: 6Hours or 2 x 3 hours.   Age: 18+.

 

Aim:

• The aim of this course is to show participants how to safely take part in indoor lead climbing.

 

Pre-requisites:

All equipment is provided, however you’re welcome to use your own if you have it.

• Participants must already be competent in all aspects of top roped climbing (rope anchored at the top of the wall).

 

Course Content:

• Equipment, their uses and limitations
• Clipping lead clips correctly
• Safe Lead belaying and Rope management
• Introduction to lead falling
