Active Stirling in partnership with SWHC run a hockey class and are looking

for new players of all abilities!

Day:        Thursday

Time:       5 - 6pm            6 - 7pm

Age:        P4 - 7               P7 - S3

Venue:    Forthbank Hockey Pitch

Dates:     21st April - 9th June 2011

Cost:      £27.20 (8 week block)

Hockey Clubs in Stirling

There are currently 3 Hockey clubs within the Stirling area covering the

clusters of Stirling, Balfron and McLaren.

• STIRLING WANDERERS HOCKEY CLUB (SWHC)

The SWHC train at Forthbank on the fantastic water-based hockey pitch.

They have a Junior, Senior Men and Senior Women section. Both senior

sections compete in the Scottish Leagues.

• BALFRON WILD WOLVES HOCKEY CLUB (BWWHC)

The BWWHC are a Junior Hockey Club who train at Balfron High School on

Tuesday evenings from:

Coach Education

Active Stirling and Scottish Hockey are running both the following coach

education coaches all taking place at Forthbank Stadium:

 

Hockey UKCC Level 1

Dates: Sunday 13th March 2011 (9am – 5pm)

Sunday 20th March 2011 (9am – 5pm)

Sunday 10th April 2011 (1-4pm)

Cost: £130/£150

Coaching and Volunteering

Are you enthusiastic, experienced and a qualified (UKCC Level 1+) coach? If

so there are opportunities to come on board and coach within the Active

Stirling hockey class and holiday programmes.

Or if you are looking for opportunities to volunteer and give something back to

your community, gain valuable sports coaching experience and progress into

the coaching programme I would love to hear from you.
