Disability Sport
Active Stirling provides a variety of disability sports classes for children aged 6-18 with physical, sensory and learning difficulties. The main aims of these classes are:
- To provide all children with the opportunity to get more active in a fun and safe environment
- To learn new skills and sports
- To make friends
- To increase the quality of coaches through Coach Education and In-service training
On order to achieve our aims we work in partnership with Sport Central, Forth Valley Disability Sport and PLUS to create fun, exciting and skill enhancing classes, clubs and events all year round.
All of our Active Stirling coaches who deliver the programmes are both Disclosure Scotland checked and have the necessary and relevant training and coaching qualifications.
