50+ Fitness Programme
Active Stirling have launched a new timetable of fitness exercise and activities across the Stirling area to help the over 50’s feel younger and healthier. Activities will range from walking groups to, gentle "Exercise for the over 50’s can have a positive impact on health & wellbeing enabling individuals to lead an independent and active lifestyle.
The activities provide a fantastic opportunity for those in the Stirling area to get out and about and try something new," explained Matt Bunnell, Health & Fitness Development Manager.
"We have put together a wide variety of exercise activities to suit all levels of fitness and experience, from health walks to aerobics, line dancing, yoga, zumba and chairobics," he added
"There is something for everyone to come along and try and right across the Stirling community".
Classes and activities are available at The Peak, Raploch Campus, Bannockburn Community Centre, the Mayfield Centre, Cambusbarron Community Centre, Gargunock, Plean Balfour Centre and Cambuskenneth.
