Canoeing
North American Native Indians developed the canoe. They hollowed out trees and propelled them along with single bladed paddles. They used these crafts for transport along the winding rivers, to trade fruit between tribes. Modern materials have allowed the canoe to become lighter and more agile, however the basic shape and design have had little change. The canoe is an ideal way to travel and see Scottish countryside.
